Lost Our Home Pet Foundation is strictly a volunteer-based organization. We would not exist if it weren't for the support of our loyal volunteers. Words can not express how greatful we are to have such a wonderful group of people donating their time to fufill our dreams. Every month we will be acknowledging one volunteer for everything they have contributed to the betterment of our organization. Kathy Connolly has proven to be an invaluable contributor toward Lost Our Home's success. Kathy is the type of individual that every volunteer-based organization hopes to have onboard. She never hesitates to offer assistance in completeing whatever tasks need to be finished, and she always goes that extra mile. Kathy's actions proven time and again how committed she is to helping these animals in need. She has stepped up to the plate and taken on the tasks that others would side-step; for instance, cleaning up after the dog's at Don's Ranch. Kathy is also a tremendous help in making our adoption events a success. Not only does she bathe up to 6 dogs before the events even begin, she also helps carry dog crates to and from the van for transportation, and remembers to pack chairs and rugs for everyone's comfort at the event. In addition to all of her preparations, Kathy has developed great relationships with the dog's along the way. When Tucker, a Labrador Retreiver, managed to escape during an adoption event, Kathy was the only one capable of catching him, and made sure he remained safe and secure. Kathy is generous of heart, time, and energy, and Lost Our Home Pet Foundation is blessed to have her as part of our team!
