There is a hidden treasure in the Cat Room and her name is Dandelion. This long haired 'buff' beauty is a year and a half old and feels most comfortable when she's tucked away under a cat bed, but lift up that cat bed and you will find a beautiful girl with a heart of gold. Dandelion may seem a bit shy at first, but just start scratching her chin and you have won a friend for life. She loves attention and will roll over to show you her belly and nudge your hand if you should stop petting her even for a moment. (She is also a super fan of bum scratches.) She does great with other cats and people and is soooo very sweet and mellow.
Apparently, she wondered on to someone's farm where feral cats were being fed and cared for by the property owners. Dandelion came right up to the couple and started rubbing on their legs. Since she had no tags or chip, they searched for the owners in the immediate area and were unsuccessful. This nice couple decided she deserved living inside a loving home rather than fending for herself on a farm with a feral colony, so they surrendered her to LOH.
