Hiya! I was told that I was named Rory because I am so dedicated to my human that I vow to protect my family until my very last breath - and, man! How did they know?! I am independent enough to let you do your thing, but still want to lounge at your feet while you relax and chew on something tasty. I am moderately active, but still want to go into Puppy Crazies every now and again which is fun for my foster to watch. I'm working on my leash skills and do better when I am not around other dogs and a lot of distractions. I am more of a fenced-in backyard to lounge in gal, but I do like to go on car rides every now and then as well! I do still have some anxiety with TV's - I haven't felt comfortable telling my story in the over 2 years LOH has taken care of me and I have been with am amazing foster, but it's time I stop mooching and find myself a permanent soulmate. I have an interesting quirk, but I'm working on self-improvement: lots of movement on the TV's get me barking and reacting still, so Julie and my mom are helping me try to see the TV isn't out to get me. If you adopt me, we can work on that program as I am always up for learning new things! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my stuffie toys and am very gentle with them, but carry them and cuddle with them frequently - like in my new profile picture! Think you wanna schedule a Meet N Greet?! I am looking for my retirement home and would do best in one with older children and no other dogs. I *may* be okay with dog-savvy cats, but I am not sure, so no animals may be best.
