Animal Shelter Major Gifts Officer (part-time)

About Lost Our Home Pet Rescue

Lost Our Home Pet Rescue is a local, no-kill nonprofit pet shelter dedicated to helping pets and pet parents in crisis. Our mission-centered programs are deeply rooted in the human–animal bond and extend beyond animal rescue to support families during challenging times. Our programs are (1) Rescue & Adoption, (2) 90-day Temporary Care, (3) a Pet Food Bank, (4) A first Responder program, and (5) partnerships with Domestic Violence Shelters.

Our welcoming, home-like shelter in Tempe houses approximately 80 pets (about 40 dogs and 40 cats), with an additional 150 pets cared for in foster homes. A genuine love for animals is essential—our workplace often includes cats and dogs who may join you in the office for a little extra care and attention.

Position Overview

Lost Our Home Pet Rescue is seeking a dynamic, relationship-driven Part-Time Major Gifts Officer to develop and grow our major gifts program. This is a hands-on fundraising role focused on identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major donors who are passionate about our mission.
