Meet Alder, who was found protecting his tiny siblings Maple and Juniper where they were all been dumped in rural Arizona! He's friendly, funny, soft as silk (maybe part Pei?), and takes treats gently. He is still a puppy, wants to please but needs direction. Alder is working on leash manners and good puppy behavior but he is strong and active but will settle down with some regular exercise. Dog-savvy children middle school-aged and older are best. Alder is a very moderate-sized dog but he runs fast and plays hearty! Alder loves people and his face lights up when he sees new humans and friendly dogs. He would love an active family that appreciates his sense of humor and fun. He is a happy and delightful dog who absolutely craves companionship Alder requires a fenced yard for frequent play and zoomies. He is good with other dogs. A tolerant and energetic and social dog would be a good match for him!
