Zen is a handsome 7‑year‑old gentleman weighing in at a solid 13 pounds of calm, quiet charm. True to his name, he has the personality of a wallflower—slow to warm up, soft‑spoken, and happiest when life moves at a peaceful pace. But once Zen feels safe, he shows his affection in the sweetest ways: gentle lean‑ins, slow blinks, and quiet companionship that feels like a warm hug.
Zen coexists wonderfully with other cats and gets along well with respectful dogs, making him a great fit for a multi‑pet home. Because he appreciates calm energy and gentle handling, his ideal family has children 7 years and older who understand how to give him space as he settles in.

Zen does have a Grade 3 heart murmur, which is a common, intermediate murmur seen in cats. These murmurs are not always dangerous and can often be managed with appropriate veterinary monitoring and care. Many cats with this type of murmur go on to live happy, comfortable lives for years.
