Are they truly bonded?
I'd say yes! They play around together quite a bit and snuggle together on the couch almost every night at bedtime.
He's a funny guy. He's incredibly cuddly, but only on his terms. He loves to climb into our laps when we are sitting but doesn't like it when we try to pick him up or grab him. He's not super playful with us but likes to play by himself and with Polly. We did have issues with Tristan scratching the furniture. We had a scratching post and a block but the couch and the carpet were his favorite. He's not super into toys but is a big fan of any type of plastic. We've taken quite a few plastic bags away from him as well as any plastic pieces that come off food containers.
Both are very gentle. They give clear warning signs when they're annoyed and even when those are missed they give gentle nips and never try to scratch.
